THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT OF PLASTIC WASTE

Plastic production is a process that requires the use of non-renewable natural resources: oil, natural gas or coal.
The long and complex stages of plastic production are very energy-intensive and water-intensive: distillation, cracking, polymerization, addition of plasticisers, addition of additives and processing.

Only PET and HDPE are recycled in France but they are not infinitely recyclable: there will come a time when they will end up in the landfill with the rest of our waste... as well as with all the other plastics that could have been recycled but that no one has made the effort to sort. In Europe, only 25% of the plastics that could be recycled are recycled!
This is why we offer an alternative to plastic packaging: Moulded Cellulose. Colourless, simply made from recycled paper and water, it is biodegradable and compostable... It is the ideal environmental solution

What happens with 1 ton of recycled paper ?

Are saved :

100 litres of water,
1,000 litres of oil,
2.5 tons of CO2,
3 m³ of landfill volume.

Is produced :

750 kilos of paper,
4,125 shoe boxes and 6,500 egg boxes.

Pay attention to your water consumption by turning off your taps when you don't need them, prefer showers to baths and avoid unnecessary water consumption.
Use the possible energy month by remembering to turn off your appliances when you are not using them, prefer energy-saving bulbs or any other energy-saving product.
These are small things that make THE DIFFERENCE - plant trees and buy local products to limit the carbon footprint.
Reduce CO2 emissions by recycling your waste, buying products that are themselves recycled and favouring products with as little packaging as possible.
