OUR COMMITMENT TO THE PLANET

PROVIDE SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVES TO 100% PLASTIC PACKAGING

Plastic: undeniable usefulness, but a major ecological threat

Plastic, with its lightness and resistance, has found its place in many industrial and everyday uses. However, this very resistance, often praised as an advantage, becomes a threat to our planet. Plastic takes centuries to decompose, polluting our soils, oceans, and ecosystems. Every year, it generates massive pollution and contributes to the accumulation of microplastics that contaminate wildlife, flora, and even our own organisms. Moreover, its production, primarily derived from fossil resources, accelerates greenhouse gas emissions, worsening the climate crisis.

In the face of this environmental urgency, regulations are evolving, and the PPWR law at the European level is enforcing profound changes. This legislative proposal aims to reduce single-use plastic packaging and promote reusable, recyclable, or biodegradable solutions. It sets ambitious goals that encourage businesses to adopt environmentally friendly alternatives.

Molded pulp: An ideal solution

This is where molded pulp stands out as an essential solution. Made from recycled natural fibers and renewable virgin fibers, it perfectly meets the requirements of the PPWR law: it is biodegradable, recyclable, and integrates seamlessly into a circular economy.

Adaptable to a wide range of applications, it offers performance equal to or even superior to plastic while significantly reducing environmental impact.

By opting for wood pulp solutions, companies can not only comply with new regulations but also anticipate the growing consumer demand for sustainability.
