At Cellulopack, we are proud to be manufacturers of High-Density Molded Pulp (HDMP), a unique manufacturing technique that sets us apart from traditional molded pulp producers.
Thanks to this advanced technology, our products stand out for their high quality, dimensional accuracy, and superior strength, all with an equivalent weight. These features make them ideal solutions for demanding applications, where reliability and performance are essential.
OUR RAW MATERIALS
We use two types of fibers for the manufacture of our products: recycled fibers and virgin fibers, carefully selected based on your project and requirements.
Virgin fibers: Purity for demanding applications
Virgin pulp is directly sourced from wood and is non-recycled, ensuring optimal performance in terms of strength and purity. This pulp exclusively comes from certified and sustainably managed forests, ensuring responsible natural resource management. We place great importance on the origin of our raw materials and prioritize pulp produced in France.
Selecting the right type of fibers is essential to guarantee the quality and adaptability of our products according to the specific needs of each project. There are two main categories of fibers:
Long fibers, mainly derived from conifers such as pine, spruce, and fir. These fibers provide excellent mechanical strength and greater flexibility, making them ideal for products requiring robustness and elasticity.
Short fibers, extracted from hardwoods such as birch, eucalyptus, or poplar. They offer better opacity and a smoother surface, which is particularly sought after for applications requiring a refined aesthetic or good absorption.
Depending on the technical and functional requirements of each project, we adjust the blend of these fibers to optimize the final properties of our molded pulp products, whether it’s resistance, absorption, or finish quality.
Recycled fibers: An eco-friendly solution
Recycled pulp is a raw material derived from the recycling of used paper and cardboard. This choice aligns with a circular economy approach, reducing the consumption of virgin resources, limiting waste, and lowering our carbon footprint.
Recycled pulp offers several advantages:
Reduced environmental impact: By reusing existing fibers, we help preserve forests and minimize the amount of waste sent to landfills or incinerated.
Optimized carbon footprint: The process of manufacturing recycled pulp typically uses less water and energy than virgin pulp production, making it a more resource-efficient alternative.
Good technical performance: Although recycled fibers have already undergone a transformation cycle, they remain suitable for many applications. They provide excellent absorption capabilities and are especially ideal for products requiring a smooth surface or a more natural appearance.
Our supplies are carefully selected, primarily from France and Europe, to ensure consistent quality and optimal traceability.
OUR ADDED VALUE
A unique expertise in adapting raw materials: Unlike other players who focus on a single type of pulp, we master both virgin and recycled pulps, allowing us to optimize each project based on the expected performance.
A rigorous selection of our suppliers: We prioritize short, traceable supply chains, sourcing 95% of our materials from France, ensuring consistent quality and controlled carbon footprint.
Expertise in custom development: We adjust the composition of our pulps based on specific requirements (resistance, absorption, aesthetics, food certification), whereas others offer standardized solutions.
A sustainable alternative to single-use plastics: By combining innovation and eco-design, we provide high-performance solutions that effectively replace plastics and other non-renewable materials.
A tailor-made approach for each project
At Cellulopack, each project is treated uniquely and personalized. Together, we define the ideal recipe and composition of the cellulose pulp, taking into account your specific needs and the requirements of your specifications.
